In 1799 the village of Vaglio took part in the Republican uprisings, while in 1861 it was ravaged and plundered by brigands led by Crocco and Borjes. Noteworthy within the village are the noble palaces among which the Palazzo Tamburrino stands out with medieval features and an imposing gateway.
